记录一下自己在看哈利波特的过程中看到的有意思的单词和句子。

Thispartiseasy,,,DumbledoreshowsalittlesuspicionaboutVoldemort’svanish,thisisalsothethreadthroughthedevelopmentofthestory,andheexplainedwhyhesHarrytoDursleys.

WORDS:

1.Glum:忧郁的，愁闷的，闷闷不乐的;凄凉的;死气沉沉的，阴沉的。

2.Dab:轻触，轻拍，轻拭，轻揩.dabatsth。Shedabbedathereyesbeneathherspectacles.

3.Half-moonglasses:在这一部分描写Dumbledore的眼镜时用的是glasses,说明他和spectacles应该是通用的。

4.Grudging：勉强的;不情愿的。

5.Astride：跨在…上。Thebridgestandsmajesticastridetheriver。

6.Abundleofblankets：一卷毛毯。Harry当时被包裹在毯子里面。

7.Sherbet：冰冻果子露。Dumbledore喜欢吃，theyarekindofMugglesweetI’mratherfondof。

8.Flinch：（突然）退缩;畏缩

9.Loseourheads：失去理智，冲昏头脑。

Sentence：

1.IhaveneverseenanyreasontobefrightenedofsayingVoldmort’sname。这句话是Dumbledore说的，表明他不惧怕Voldmort。最近也看到一句话，当你面对一个人时，如果你敢称呼他的名字，表示你不害怕他，你认为你们之间是平等的。

2.wecanonlyguess,wemayneverknow.当MrsMcGonagall问Dumbledore为什么Voldmort没有伤害Harry时，Dumbledore说了这句话。canonly,maynever。

3.itwouldbeenoughtoturnanyboy’!Famousforsomethinghewon’tevenremember.这句是MrsMcGonagall觉得Harry不应该交给Dursleys看管时说的话，她认为Harry应该交给魔法世界的人来养育，作为回应，Dumbledore说了这句话。从后面的故事中我们也能看到这个决定很正确，因为当魔法世界的人看到Harry时除了崇拜还是崇拜，Harry对他们来说是一个传说、一个英雄，可能如果让他们照看Harry，长大的Harry真的要去Slytherin了。

4.IwouldtrustHagridwithmylife。书里面Dumbledore最信任的两个人是Hagrid和Snape.

5.ahugemotorbikefelloutoftheairandlandedontheroadinfrontofthem.这里描写的Hagrid的摩托车从天而降。
